There's no one way to move your body, but there is a smarter and more effective way. Kahlé is a place to learn how to move better. Through arduous play, tactful exercises, and conscious movement, Strength + Resist is a class that encompasses all the most productive elements of group fitness: strength training, resistance training, mobility, stretching, cardio, and fun! All the best in one class to make anybody their best, here's how we do it:

WArmup

Starting with breathwork to connect with the core and center the mind, the beginning of every workout is an opportunity to check in and assess the body's mobility on that day. Then we warm up the full capacity of the joints with dynamic and rotational movements.

Core

Heating up the core is like revving the engine of a car, preparing our stabilizers for the challenges ahead.

Cardio

We dive into our largest muscles with strength training, resistance training and bodyweight exercises designed to increase stamina and endurance.

stretch

After heating up all your muscles, we take advantage of that muscular pliability and stretch it out. Stretching is as neurological as it is physical, and by consistently stretching our bodies, we learn how far we can safely extend ourselves and gain access to more muscle fibers for even deeper work in the future.

mobility

Once we've opened up the body's ranges of movement, we can more effectively work into the joint capsules, essentially doing regular physical therapy and maintenance to keep our joint's bulletproof and our brains connected to our bodies.

final Burnout

With the benefit of fatigue, muscle overload, and newer ranges of movement available, our final push in class takes things to the next level. Here's where we target the muscles with high reps and high effort strength training. Prepare to shake, get excited to burn.

Cool down

Bringing the body back down to earth from the Kahlé heavens, we owe it to our bodies to recover. Passive stretching brings nutrients to the body through blood flow, and gentle movements destress our systems, so that we can move on with the day feeling invigorated and energized.
