What to expect
Gear
Water, Mat, Socks, Towel
We like a floor with a little give to it to help the sensory awareness of our feet. For the same reason, we're shoeless in class to better connect with the mat. Keeping a water bottle on hand is highly recommended. And there will be sweat, so a towel, too!
every body
From Newbie to Pro's, Kahlé is for you!
Whether you're new to fitness or looking to add to your current workout schedule, Kahlé is designed to challenge all homo sapiens. With a blend of mobility and strength training, Kahlé's method targets the individual's personal end-range of movement, no matter where that might be. With repetition and consistency, every body has the opportunity to strengthen and grow.
Overload
Progressive Overload = Failure Party
Kahlé integrates opportunities for progressive overload throughout the class. In order for muscles to adapt, the body must be pushed to near or total failure, like that last pushup you barely survived- this is the key to hypertrophy (muscle building). Plan on hard work, and we'll guide you to taking each move to your greatest, safest effort. We're showing up for progress, not perfection.
body + mind
Fortify your nervous system
Neuroplasticity enhances when we learn new ways to move, like a crossword puzzle for our muscles. Kahlé works with compound movements, music, patterns and rhythms to keep our mind to muscle connection sharp and growing. The workout is as good for your brain as it is for your body!
